If you’re like most people, you probably don’t have the time or inclination to clean your artificial Christmas tree every year. But before the tree starts to look rank and greasy, it’s worth taking a few minutes to clean it up. Here’s how:

  1. Remove any ornaments that are attached to the tree with wire or ribbon ties. These can be easily broken and can cause damage if left on the tree.
  2. If your artificial Christmas tree is covered in lights, remove all of the lights from the branches and trunk of the tree. This will help keep them from becoming tangled and damaged over time.
  3. Wipe down all of the surfaces of the artificial Christmas tree with a damp cloth or sponge. Make sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies!
  4. Pour a small amount of dishwashing detergent into a bucket or sink, and add enough water to cover the detergent completely. Soak a cloth in this mixture and wring it out well before using it to wipe down your artificial Christmas tree again. Be sure to rinse off all of the soap residue before putting your tree back up! ..
