Pour a pot of boiling water onto the bottom of the fish tank and add a pot of cold water.
Add a pot of soap to the cold water and stir to combine. Pour the mixture over the fishtank top and let it sit for about 10 minutes, or until it has melted down.
Use a plunger to suction onto one end of the soap solution and pull it out from under the fishtank top. Pour another pot of boiling water onto the bottom of the fish tank and add another pot of cold water, stirring to combine. Pour this mixture over the fishtank top and let it sit for about 10 minutes, or until it has melted down again.
Use a vacuum cleaner to suck out all excess soap solution from under the fishtank top. Rinse off any dirt or debris that was on top of the aquarium before cleaning up with a dry cloth or paper towel.
