If you’re like most painters, you probably have a few brushes that are just a little too dirty to be used again. Acrylic paint is notoriously difficult to clean, but there are a few tricks that will make the process a lot easier. The first step is to get rid of any excess paint. If the brush is dirty, wet it down and scrub it with a stiff brush. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. Once the paint is off, rinse it off with water. Next, mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Mist the bristles of the brush with the vinegar solution and let it sit for about five minutes.
