There are a few things you can do to clean a rabbit litter box before you put your new rabbit in it.
- Remove all of the food and water from the box. This will help to prevent any bacteria from growing and creating an unpleasant odor.
- Use a mild soap solution to clean the inside of the box, making sure to get all of the dirt, fecal matter, and other debris out. Be careful not to damage the plastic or fabric of the box.
- Rinse off any excess soap solution and dry off the box using a soft cloth or paper towel.
