If you’re ever going to have to clean a motorcycle carburetor, it’s a good idea to do it in stages. First, remove the air cleaner and any other obstructions. Then, unscrew the carburetor from the bike. Be sure to take off all of the screws that hold it in place. Finally, use a vacuum cleaner and bucket to remove all of the dirt and debris that has built up on the carburetor.
