1. Remove the meat from the packaging.
  2. Place the meat on a cutting board or work surface.
  3. Cut off the end of the thermometer probe and place it over the top of the meat.
  4. Twist the probe until it is fully inserted into the meat and hold it there for a few seconds to ensure that it is in contact with both sides of the meat.
  5. Carefully remove any excess moisture from the meat by pressing it down with your hands or using a paper towel or cloth.
