- Remove the meat from the packaging.
- Place the meat on a cutting board or work surface.
- Cut off the end of the thermometer probe and place it over the top of the meat.
- Twist the probe until it is fully inserted into the meat and hold it there for a few seconds to ensure that it is in contact with both sides of the meat.
- Carefully remove any excess moisture from the meat by pressing it down with your hands or using a paper towel or cloth.
