If you have a car with a radiator, it’s important to clean it regularly. Radiators work by transferring heat from the engine to the exterior of the car. If the radiator is dirty, it will not be able to do its job and your car will overheat. Here are four easy steps for cleaning a car radiator:

  1. Remove the cap and unscrew the radiator hose from the top of the unit.
  2. Pour a pot of boiling water into the radiator and wait five minutes.
  3. Remove all of the debris with a brush or vacuum cleaner. Be sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies!
  4. Pour a pot of cold water into the radiator and screw on the hose until it’s tight. Let it sit for an hour so that any remaining water can evaporate ..
