There are a few things you can do to clean a bassinet before you put your child in it. First, make sure the bassinet is empty and clean all of the surfaces. Second, remove any dirt or dust that may have built up on the inside of the bassinet. Finally, use a mild soap and water to clean the outside of the bassinet.
