If you’re like most people, you probably use Illustrator to create graphics and illustrations. But if you want to create text in Illustrator, there are a few things you need to know. First, Illustrator has a built-in text editor called TextEdit. This editor is great for creating simple text blocks, but it’s not as powerful as the one found in Adobe Photoshop or Inkscape. Second, you’ll need to install the Illustrator Text Module. This module provides a number of features that are not found in the TextEdit editor. For example, the module allows you to create subscript and superscript characters, change font sizes and types, and more. Finally, once you have all of these tools installed, it’s time to start creating text! To start creating text blocks in Illustrator, open up your document and click on the New button at the bottom of the screen. Then enter a name for your block and choose a font size and typeface. Once you’ve chosen your options, click on OK to create your block.
