If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to create graphics and photos. But if you want to add text to your images, there’s a lot you can do. Here are a few tips:

  1. Choose the right typeface When choosing a typeface, be sure to choose one that will look good on your images. For example, if you want a modern font, choose something like Arial or Helvetica. If you want an old-fashioned font, choose something like Times New Roman or Century Gothic.
  2. Use the right tools When adding text, use the same tools that you use for graphics: brushes and selection tools. You can also use the pen tool to add text in different directions or sizes. And if you need to make text bold or underline it, use the black and white tools in Photoshop CC’s Tools palette.
