If you’re a graphic designer or illustrator who uses Illustrator for your work, then you know that adding fonts to your software can make a big difference in the look and feel of your illustrations. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Illustrator and click on the File menu and select New File.
- In the New File dialog, enter a name for your new file and click on the OK button.
- In the Fonts panel, select one of the popular font families that you use often in your work and click on the OK button to add it to your file.
- Click on the OK button again to close the Fonts panel and return to Illustrator’s main window.
- Now open another document and start drawing some illustrations using one of the popular font families that you’ve added to Illustrator. You’ll see a big difference in how your illustrations look when using those same fonts in two different documents!
