If you’re like most people, you use fonts all the time in your work. Whether it’s in a document you’re creating or just browsing the web, font use is a common way to make things look more polished and professional. But if you’re using Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, adding fonts can be a bit of a challenge. In this article, we’ll show you how to add fonts to your Illustrator projects easily and quickly. First things first: if you don’t have any fonts installed on your computer already, make sure to download and install some! There are plenty of free and premium fonts available online that will work perfectly with Illustrator. Once you’ve got your font files downloaded and installed, open up Illustrator and click on the “Fonts” tab in the toolbar (or go to Window > Fonts). Now that we’ve got our font files open in Illustrator, we need to tell it which file type each one is. To do this, select each font file individually and click on the “Font Info” button (or go to Window > Font Info). In the “Font Info” window that pops up, make sure the “Type” drop-down menu is set to “True Type (.ttf)”.
