  1. Open Photoshop and click the File menu and select New File.
  2. Type a name for the new file and click OK.
  3. In the New File dialog, select Fonts from the Font list and click OK.
  4. In the Font Properties dialog, set the following properties: a) The font name (e.g., Arial) b) The font size (in points) c) The typeface (e.g., Helvetica Neue) d) The color (in shades of gray or black) e) The style (normal or italic).
