If you own a car, there’s a good chance that you have an RFID tag installed. RFID tags are small chips that can be read by special readers, and they’re becoming more common as companies try to track inventory and make sure products are getting to their destinations on time. Activating the RFID tag in your car is easy, but it requires a little bit of knowledge about how the tags work. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the car’s door and locate the tag reader. It will likely be near the windshield or somewhere on the dashboard. If it’s not there, you may need to purchase a separate reader from your car manufacturer or supplier.
  2. Insert your RFID tag into the reader until it clicks into place. Make sure that all of the antennae on the tag are pointing inwards so that they can pick up signals from the reader.
  3. Close the door and wait for a few seconds while the tag registers with the reader. The green light on top of the reader should turn off, indicating that activation was successful. ..
