To begin, you’ll need to create a new layer on your canvas. Name this layer " Bleed In." Next, use the black and white tools to create a basic bleed effect. Start by selecting the black tool and pressing down on the canvas. Then use the white tool to select any areas of the image that you want to bleed into. Be sure to select all of the areas that you want to bleed into, or else your artwork will look like it’s missing some of its color. Now that you’ve selected all of your bleed areas, press Command-F5 to start bleeding into them. You can continue bleeding until you’ve reached your desired level of color. Once you’ve finished bleeding in, press Command-F5 again to finish off your artwork.
