The American Conservation Association (ACNH) has released a report that offers 30 amazing design ideas for the future of the American Forest. The report, “Forestcore: A Blueprint for Future Success,” was written by ACNH’s Director of Forestry and Environmental Affairs, Dr. David Weigel. Some of the ideas in the report include creating more forested areas, increasing access to forests for people and nature, conserving forests through land management and climate change adaptation, and improving forest health through research and education. “Forestcore” is a guide to creating a successful future for forests that can be used by government officials, business leaders, environmentalists, and anyone who wants to help protect our planet’s most important natural resource.
