Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an upcoming video game for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a sequel to the 2010 game Animal Crossing: City Folk and the follow-up to the 2006 game Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The game was announced by Nintendo on October 12, 2014 during their E3 2014 press conference. The game is set in a new world called “The Moon”. Players can create their own town on The Moon, or join others’ towns to form villages. There are also challenges and rewards available for players who complete them.
